The Monster returns this year

It’s been over two years since KGF Chapter 1 roared in the theatres and became a monster hit. It was the most expensive movie made in sandalwood with a budget of 80 crores which when released on 21 December 2018 not only surpassed the expectations but also went to become the highest-grossing movie of Sandalwood earning around 250 crores. People instantly fell in love with the action masala ride and its characters especially the monster aka Rocky. The movie had an amazing star cast, punchy tag lines, and of course the bond of love between a mother and a son that made people emotional. The movie ended on a cliffhanger and since then people have been dying to know what’s next for rocky and the hype for chapter 2 just increased with time.

Earlier in 2020, it was said that Chapter 2 was going to be released in theatres on 23 Oct 2020 but the global pandemic Coronavirus hit us and the movie got delayed, but it did not stop the hype for the movie to go down and it was shown the moment the teaser was put on youtube on 7 January. It went on to become one of the most liked teasers with around 7.9 million likes and almost 165+ million views. The love of fans for the movie was so much that they even started to tweet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to declare a national holiday on the day of the movie release. On 29 January 2021, the filmmakers announced that, K.G.F: Chapter 2 will be released theatrically on 16 July 2021 in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam language.

The more will be having new antagonists with Sanjay Dutt playing a negative role of ADHEERA and Raveena Tandon will be playing the role of Ramika Sen who is the prime minister of India while Yash, Srinidhi, Malvika, and Anant will be reprising their roles.

When asked, the actors about the movie they replied that if you think KGF chapter 1 was massive then chapter 2 is five times the prequel. The movie is said to be made on even a larger scale and budget than its prequel. In fact, this time Yash himself will be dubbing his dialogues in Hindi instead of a dubbing artist So mark your calendar and get ready for Rocky to return and rule your hearts and theatres again.
